Great Depression Caramels
Ingredients
Sugars:
2 1/4 cups brown sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
Dairy:
1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup butter
For Good Measure:
1 teaspoon vanilla
Chocolate:
1 pound Merkens milk chocolate
Directions
Gently melt butter over medium heat, don’t let it burn.

Thoughts: A small well, but quality. IDW has two titles for the boys, but that is the only publisher that has anything for them this week. I am looking forward to Ultimates, but the new Ultimate Spider-Man needs to work hard because Issue 1 hasn’t won me over yet. Lots of Bendis’s 616 books have been waning in my estimation and I hope that Ultimate Spider-man doesn’t go that way...
